It's a family thing...

A Saskatchewan farming family, Margaret (Mugs) and William (Bill) Sullivan took a chance on a new fruit being developed and bred at the University of Saskatchewan.


Looking for a fruit crop that suited our short summers and harsh winters to complement their 80,000 sq.ft. greenhouse operation they found that not only did Haskap fit that niche, but the harsh climate actually produces healthier berries.


As value-added producers, the Sullivans focused on the health aspects and utilizing the entire Haskap plant from the very beginning, and over the past 20 years, researched and developed their own products and flavour profiles, to the delight of the health-conscious consumer.
